Diagnosis before demolition
We measure before we cut. Moisture meters and thermal imaging define the affected area, so removal is proportionate to the problem rather than to a sales target.
A mold remediation and structural drying company working on residential and commercial property throughout Marietta and Cobb County, Georgia, from our base at 508 Roswell St NE.
We remediate mold and dry the moisture conditions that cause it. That covers everything from a contained area in a single bathroom to flood mold remediation across a whole lower level, and it includes the water damage work that precedes it — emergency water extraction, structural drying and moisture monitoring.
The decision that matters on every job is how much material comes out. Too little and damp, colonised substrate stays in the building. Too much and you have paid for demolition you did not need. We settle that question with instruments: moisture meters give moisture content readings through finishes, thermal imaging cameras locate areas with hidden moisture, and the cut line follows the readings rather than the stain. It is a slower way to scope a job and it is the only way to scope one accurately.
Mold remediation has a recognised body of industry practice covering containment, removal of contaminated porous materials, worker protection and drying verification. Our restoration protocols are built around those industry standards, and antimicrobial products are applied as EPA-registered products according to their product-specific application requirements rather than by general habit.
We are careful about what we claim. Where a standard, licence or registration applies to the work being described, we say so specifically and we will provide the documentation on request. Where it does not, we do not imply it. The same applies to insurance: coverage depends on your policy wording, its exclusions and the circumstances of the loss, and that decision belongs to your carrier rather than to us.
Portable and truck-mounted water extraction equipment, industrial air movers, commercial dehumidifiers, desiccant drying equipment for specialised applications, moisture meters and moisture monitoring technology, thermal imaging cameras, and HEPA air filtration with negative-pressure containment. Equipment is sized to the volume of the space and the materials being dried, which is why a drying plan is produced before anything is placed.
We work on single-family homes, apartments, rental and managed property, offices, retail units, commercial facilities and vacant or pre-sale property. The remediation sequence does not change between them; the scheduling does. Commercial and occupied-property work is normally phased so contained areas can be remediated while the rest of the building stays in use.
We cover Marietta and the surrounding Cobb County area, including Downtown Marietta, Marietta Square, Forest Hills, Whitlock, Oakton and the rest of the neighbourhoods on our service areas page.
How we work
We measure before we cut. Moisture meters and thermal imaging define the affected area, so removal is proportionate to the problem rather than to a sales target.
Every job closes on comparative moisture content readings between affected and unaffected materials. Those readings go in your file.
You get the inspection findings, the materials affected and the drying plan in writing before work starts. If the scope changes once a wall is open, we stop and agree it with you first.
We will not tell you a loss is covered by insurance, and we will not sell remediation where a repair and a dehumidifier are the correct answer.
